I recently stayed at the cute and intimate THC Tirso Molina Hostel for a long weekend trip. The staff was friendly and spoke English, which is not common in the city. The location was convenient with a metro station just a 2-minute walk away. The room was small but comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The whole place was clean and secure, providing a safe and comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff incredibly kind and helpful (thanks Ricardo!!!)...always ready to help! Room and bathroom very clean,comfortable beds and flat screen tv in the room. Walking distance (10 min) from puerta del sol and centre.Excellent value for money. Will defenetly book again when back in madrid !!!

Woooooooooooooooooooooooo we really enjoyed staying here ,thus my friend and I decided to extend our holidays .and she told me just write down "great" on this rate:) it;s a new and clean hotel, the air is fresh and no one smoking inside staffs were nice ,helpful and reliable,they were so courteous and gave us lots of useful information and the location is convenient,only 10minutes walk to several main squares and there is also a metro staion,just 50m far from it, some supermarkets and restaurants around this area so u don;t need to worry about your breakfast

The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. the rooms were small but very clean, perfect for a light sleeper like me.

Great location, near two metro stops. Good walking distance to the main tourist squares. Room was clean and the wifi worked like a charm.

The hostel is very good... The situation is just perfect. Near the place del sol (10 min walking) and near plaza mayor (10 min) and near my favorit the market San miguel (10 min too). We make just 45 min min to come from the airport by the subway... The hotel is very nice... The staff take really care of us ( thanks for the cava...) i come here for make a surprise to my girlfriend, for our one year relation and you can be sure we will come back again. MADRID is very dynamic city and good for couple i guess. The room is ok and we have a lovely balcony with view of the spanish roof of madrid. Anyway i recommend this place.... Gogogo

Nice rooms, big and clean!

Very noisy! Inconsiderate guests coming in at 3am and the staff not asking them to be quiet was very frustrating.

Noise from streets and hallway.

The hostel was renovated about 24 months ago and has a clean look and style. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the assistance from the hotel receptionist. Free tourist friendly map, hotel business card (in case you get lost and need to get a taxi back) plus details of how to access the complimentary wifi.

I found it a little difficult to locate initially as Google maps doesn't quite do it. It would be nice if the tourist friendly map was turned into a PDF and annotated with directions of How to find Us. Such as how to get to the hostel by tube underground. Overall very good hostel.

Very convenient location, just a few minutes' walk to the nearest metro station. Room very clean. Reception was always warm and helpful.

Room was a little too small for us. Also wifi was poor inside the room; we had to get out of the room to check for important mails.

Very friendly staff, especially the old gentleman on shift at night. The hotel position is perfect, next to metro station and only 5 minutes walking to SOL.

The room is way too small.

Friendly reception, all staff is very helpful. Room is small but cosy and the terrace (4th floor) makes up for the lack of space inside. Location is perfect: in a quiet street close to everything you would like to see and do whilst in Madrid.

Be warned that there is no elevator, just quite a narrow staircase.
